On May 14, 1971, the Ariège prefecture registered the creation of the Football Club Laroquais. A group of friends, football enthusiasts, wanted to practice their favorite sport in their city. 50 years later, with ups and downs, tears and joys, the FCL is still here. The presidents have followed one another, the leaders and the good players have also passed, but there is always this desire to meet around a passion. A group of young people from Lara is currently struggling to perpetuate the club and would like a few elders to come and support them. In these difficult times, the Football Club Laroquais wishes to reassure its supporters that there will always be a group of friends in our city ready to take up the challenge and keep the association alive. For this, she still hopes to be able to count on the support of the municipality and of the sponsors, rare, but always as faithful as the photo shows. FC Laroquais would like to organize a party to celebrate this anniversary but it will be necessary to wait for the sanitary conditions to allow it and for a few volunteers to make themselves known.
