FC Gossau got off to a successful start to the season. After the success at the start, the Fürstenlanders follow up on the Winterthurer Schützenwiese with a 2-0 win. Man of the match with two goals is Nico Abegglen.
FC Gossau achieved their second victory in the second game. Against the Winterthur offspring, the Fürstenländer were the better team and did more for the three points and in the end deservedly won 2-0. After the lead, the Gossauers were never in danger of giving up the game.

The two goals were played out very nicely and deliberately and were practically identical. At 1-0, which fell in the 38th minute of the game, the shot came from the right from a good 15 meters. Almost four minutes before the end of the game, the pass came from the left and again the former Super League player pulled the trigger from almost 15 meters.
Aperitif before the game
As in previous years, FC Gossau was invited to an aperitif on the Winterthur Schützenwiese before the game. Roland Gnägi, former FC Gossau President and current Vice President of FC Winterthur invited. Numerous people from Gossau used the opportunity to exchange ideas with those present.
