FC Dallas Speaks Out After Maarten Paes Officially Defends Indonesian National Team

FC Dallas uploaded several photos of Maarten Paes’ hologram. He also tagged Maarten Paes’ account and the Indonesian National Team in the post.

PSSI announced that Maarten Paes has been able to strengthen the Indonesian National Team on Sunday (18/8/2024). The transfer of his federation from KNVB to PSSI has been approved by FIFA.

Maarten Paes has the chance to make his debut soon. The 26-year-old goalkeeper could play for the Indonesian national team against Saudi Arabia.

In the first match of Group C of the Third Round of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers for the Asian Zone, the Indonesian National Team will play at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, Jeddah, on September 5, 2024.

“I feel happy to talk to you guys. I think I want to come there as soon as possible, play as soon as possible for the national team. And I am very grateful to have this opportunity and to be able to play for Garuda,” said Maarten Paes.

“I can’t wait to meet you guys in person. Let’s create beautiful memories together. Light up my brother,” he added.

Maarten Paes has made 30 appearances for FC Dallas this season, conceding 46 goals and keeping six clean sheets.
