The zero sevens went into the winter break in the regional league season IV as ninth in the table. Coach Oliver Hack takes stock.
“We got off to a really bad start with two points from the first five games,” says Hack, who took over from Alexander Eberhart before the season. “I said afterwards that we can’t make up this points deficit in a few games, but have to work off this mortgage over a longer period of time. But we stayed calm despite the start, continued to work hard and fought our way out of the biggest mess together. With the subsequent five wins from seven games, we achieved a certain turnaround.”
