At home, the latter took the lead thanks to Nel Mbakebo (36th). With their backs to the wall, Philippe Hinschberger’s men were able to react and equalize thanks to Sidi Cissé (56th). Then, it was Tyrone Tormin who came to deliver the Deux-Sèvres club in the final moments (86th, 1-2), before a scuffle broke out and a player from each side was sent off.

“My club is at odds”

In an interview given to the New Republicthe president of FC Bressuire Stéphane Viault regrets the proportion taken by the events and gives his version of the facts.

“This return has no place in relation to the celebration that took place. Yes, there was tension at the end of the match with, I don’t know why, the general manager and the two people from the security of the Chamois completely on the field. The referee made his decisions and fair decisions. From there to making things worse and reaching this media multiplication, I find that it goes too far. Today, social networks allow themselves everything in terms of transmission. I feel that my club is put at odds, he mentions in particular. The Chamois were in the first locker room assigned to them. The second, right next door, was the one escorts-kids and little ones. The third, that of young people. The changing rooms are closed and no one can enter, there is no access possible on the sides since they are security doors which are all formed, Stéphane Viault was keen to explain: The little ones who were in the locker room next door may have urinated in the shower before entering the field. At the end of the match, the Chamois took over the two changing rooms and the bags ended up in the showers. I noticed that there was urine on two bags, but not on the clothes. If it had been intentional, or an external degradation with people who have nothing to do in the locker rooms, they would have completely urinated on the entire bag, finishes the two-Sévrian leader.

Still according to information from the New Republic, a joint press release with the Chamois Niortais could be drawn up in the coming hours in order to calm the situation.
