FC Bayern Munich upcoming Champions League Round of 16 opponent Paris St. Germain continues to have unfamiliar problems in the French championship. The defending champion stayed on Sunday evening with the 1:1 (0:0) vs. Reims Stadium without a win for the 3rd time in the last 4 league games. This leaves PSG just 3 points clear at the top of the table over closest rivals RC Lens (1-1 at ES Troyes AC, Altach’s Alexis Tibidi’s new club). But even the German record champions are not doing any better in the new year with 3 times 1:1 draws in the “English week” and only 3 points out of a possible 9!

12th goal of the season for Neymar
Neymar gave the home side the lead 6 minutes after the break with his 12th goal of the season against the fifth-placed team. But outnumbered after the red card against substitute Marco Verratti (59th), leaders Paris SG conceded the equalization of the guests by Folarin Balogun (90th + 6th) in injury time.
During the week, Austrian international goalkeeper Patrick Pentz made the move from Stade Reims to German Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
