FC Bayern Munich is obviously preparing for an exit. Alphonso Davies’ contract expires in the summer. At the moment it doesn’t look as if the left-back will extend his working paper with the German record champions again.
If Davies really leaves in the summer, FC Bayern Munich is apparently already prepared for it. The Bundesliga leaders are said to have identified two players as possible successors – a DFB star is also there.
FC Bayern Munich already looking for Davies’ successor?
Davies came to Germany from the Vancouver Whitecaps to FC Bayern in 2019. There he developed into an indispensable regular player. The lightning-fast left-back has been with Munich for several years now.

FCB would also like to keep the Canadian beyond the summer, but at the moment it doesn’t look like he would extend his contract again. Real Madrid and Manchester United are said to be showing great interest and would like to sign the 24-year-old for a free transfer.
DFB star and Milan defender in conversation with Bayern
Possible successors are already being discussed at FC Bayern. According to a report in “Bild”, Bayern boss Max Eberl is said to have targeted DFB star David Raum and Milan defender Theo Hernandez.

National player Raum is currently under contract with RB Leipzig, his working paper runs until 2027. Hernandez, the brother of ex-Bayer star Lucas, has a contract with AC Milan until 2026. A transfer fee would probably be due for both players.
Bayern Munich has not yet given up hope of extending Davies’ contract. Basically, both parties want to, but they can’t come together financially yet.
