FC Bayern Munich has had a very successful transfer summer. Three top-class newcomers were introduced: Hiroki Ito, Joao Palinha and Michael Olise.
Despite the numerous newcomers, FC Bayern Munich also came away empty-handed in one or two negotiations. But the German record champions just don’t seem to want to give up on a transfer target – is he now coming to FCB late?
Hakan Calhanoglu to FC Bayern Munich next summer?
Hakan Calhanoglu was a hotly discussed personality in Munich last summer. A transfer ultimately did not take place. Now, however, there are new developments.

Because as the Turkish portal “NTV Spor” wants to know, the 30-year-old should still be on FC Bayern Munich’s wish list. Those in charge around Christoph Freund and Max Eberl are said to want to make a new attempt next summer to land the Mannheim native. But there is a big problem.
Mega transfer fee due for Calhanoglu?
As “NTV Spor” reports, Inter Milan are generally not opposed to selling Calhanoglu, but the financial pain threshold is said to be a proud 50 million euros. It is at least doubtful whether Bayern are prepared to pay this price.
When you look at the Munich squad it quickly becomes clear: In the central midfield, where Calhanoglu is at home, coach Vincent Kompany almost has an oversupply. Last summer they even wanted to get rid of Leon Goretzka so as not to let the top earner languish on the bench. This is one of the reasons why a Calhanoglu commitment currently seems rather unlikely.
