FC Bayern Munich: Hansi Flick gives Kingsley Coman a slight all-clear

According to the Bayern coach, Coman was hit on the knee in the game against Union Berlin. But it doesn’t look too bad, says Flick.

Coach Hansi Flick from FC Bayern Munich has given Kingsley Coman the slight all-clear. The 24-year-old winger was replaced at halftime in the 1-1 draw against Union Berlin.

“He’s been hit on the knee,” said Flick. “I think it’s not all that bad.” Apart from Coman, according to Flick, Jerome Boateng had to go down (66th). Jamal Musiala was replaced in the 74th because of cramps.

Bayern – Flick: “We don’t take any risks with Leon Goretzka”

FC Bayern were already missing Niklas Süle, Alphonso Davies, Lucas Hernandez, Marc Roca, Leon Goretzka, Corentin Tolisso, Douglas Costa, Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski against Union for various reasons.

On Tuesday (9 p.m.), FC Bayern will be visiting Paris Saint-Germain for the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League and will have to make up 2-3. “I have more hope for Lucas Hernandez. We don’t take any risks with Leon, it’s a muscular injury. The doctors decide whether it’s worth the risk,” said Flick.
