FC Bayern Munich has taken over the top of the Bundesliga table. The Munich team won 7-0 (4-0) against VfL Bochum. Harry Kane scored three goals.
Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting (4th minute), Kane (13th), Matthijs de Ligt (29th) and Leroy Sané (38th) scored for Munich in the first half. Kane scored two more goals (54th/88th) in the second half, and Mathys Tel also scored in the 81st minute.
The record champions are now one point ahead of VfB Stuttgart, RB Leipzig and TSG Hoffenheim and three points ahead of Leverkusen. Bayer awaits promoted team 1. FC Heidenheim on Sunday and could displace Munich again with a big win.
Borussia Dortmund – VfL Wolfsburg 1:0 (0:0)
Marco Reus saved Borussia Dortmund from another setback. Four days after the defeat in the Champions League in Paris, BVB achieved a hard-fought victory against VfL Wolfsburg. Thanks to Reus’s goal in the 69th minute, BVB moved up into the European Cup ranks.
Reus had already become dangerous with a free kick in the fifth minute, but Wolfsburg goalkeeper Koen Casteels demonstrated his skills. After the restart, BVB increased the pressure and created chances that Niclas Füllkrug (54′) and Julian Brandt (55′) were unable to take advantage of.
