Michael Rummenigge, former FC Bayern Munich player and brother of FCB board boss Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, has emphasized the importance of Thomas Müller for the German record champions.
“He is currently Bayern’s most important player and in this form is actually indispensable for the national team,” he told the Sports buzzer about the 30 year old.
After the 8-2 gala in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, Munich are the clear favorites in the semifinals against Olympique Lyon. After such a performance, the biggest challenge is to keep the tension and motivation high, according to Rummenigge. “Compared to Lyon, the German champions are better occupied in all positions – the decisive factor will be concentration,” added the 56-year-old.
