This was reported, among other things, by the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Catalans have been working on a commitment for the 24-year-old for weeks.
Mazraoui’s contract with the Dutch record champions expires at the end of the season, so the Moroccan international is available on a free transfer this summer.
Both clubs will now have to look around for alternatives.
Mazraoui has made 29 competitive appearances for Ajax this season, providing five goals and four assists.
