FC Bavaria Wörth Holds Traditional Sports Week After Two-Year Hiatus

Wörth – From Saturday, July 1st to Monday, July 3rd, 2023, FC Bavaria Wörth is holding its traditional sports week.

Am Saturday it begins at 10 a.m. with a D-Youth tournament, followed by the E-Youth competition at 2 p.m. The highlight is the interim game of the FCB first team at 6 p.m. against SV Rülzheim. From 8 p.m., various honors and thanks from the youth department are included in the cozy part.

Am Sunday The tournaments for the G1 and G2 youth start at 10 a.m., before the city’s athletes are honored with the medals of honor from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The afternoon from 2 p.m. belongs to the F1 and F2 youngsters, who complete the tournament with their competitors. Around 750 children and young people are expected with their families on the sports grounds.

On Monday, as every year, the penalty shootout of the local clubs, leisure teams and other associations promises a lot of excitement. From 5.30 p.m. it should be revealed who is the city champion in the penalty shoot-out. At 7.30 p.m. on the “Wörther Abend” there will be what is now known as “El Classico” when Athletico Alt-Wörth and Real Neu-Wörth face each other. The Neu-Wörther have to defend the title.
