FC Barcelona: Xavi takes 32 footballers to the United States

The Barcelona coach gave the list of players who will fly to North American lands this afternoon. Among them are 24 that he currently has in the first team. The midfielder Oriol Romeu is included, who this morning carried out his first training session as a Barça player.

The team’s debut in the United States will take place on July 22 against Juventus at the Levis Stadium in Santa Clara, southeast of San Francisco, and then it will play another three friendlies against Arsenal in Los Angeles, Real Madrid in Dallas, and Milan in Las Vegas.

On American soil, Barça will be there until August 2. and six days later, on Tuesday the 8th, they will play the Joan Gamper Trophy against Tottenham at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium.

The friendly against the English team will be the last preparation match before the start of LaLiga, at the Alfonso Pérez Coliseum in Getafe, on Sunday, August 13.
