18-year-old Edu Sanchez is on the verge of a transfer to FC Barcelona. The talented left-back comes first as a reinforcement for the second team.
According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, the transfer of Edu Sanchez from the Spanish fourth division club CD Badajoz to the second team of FC Barcelona is already done.
The left-back was reportedly already at the Catalan club’s premises and has signed his contract. An official announcement is imminent. Barça blogger Gerard Romero has already shared pictures of Sanchez’s arrival at FC Barcelona’s club grounds.
Several clubs were interested in Edu Sanchez
Barça beat other Spanish clubs like Leganes and Sporting Gijón, who were also interested in signing the defensive talent.

FC Barcelona: Second team has many options for left back
Mexican coach Rafael Márquez (44) has another left-back option for Barça Atletic alongside Gerard Martín (21) who joined from Cornellà.

Edu Sanchez already a junior international for Spain
