FC Barcelona Secures Mandatory Win Despite Gündogan’s Missed Penalty

Despite a missed penalty by national player Ilkay Gündogan, FC Barcelona clinched a mandatory win in the Spanish Primera División. The Catalans easily won 1-0 (0-0) at home against RCD Mallorca on Friday evening.

The goal was scored by 16-year-old Lamine Yamal (fourth goal of the season, market value 60 million euros) after preparatory work by ex-Bayern professional Robert Lewandowski in the 73rd minute. In the first half, Gündogan failed with a penalty against Mallorca goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic (24th).
