Since Lionel Messi has no training until Thursday, the FC Barcelona superstar used the time to visit his very good friend Luis Suarez in Madrid, according to SPORT. Both are said to have agreed to meet for dinner in the Italian restaurant Numa Pompilio on Tuesday.
Barça have long since bid farewell to the LaLiga title race. Suarez and Atletico have the opportunity to win the championship with a win in the away game against Real Valladolid (Saturday, 6pm).
There should have been plenty of topics of conversation. The star players will not only have talked about the championship fight. Messi’s contract in Barcelona expires in a few weeks. It is still unclear whether it will extend it again.
