Vitor Roque (18) is considered THE Brazilian super talent – and will soon play for Barça. The Catalans have agreed in principle with Brazilian club Athletico Paranaense about the transfer of the striker.

Background: In the league game against SC Internacional a few weeks ago, Roque was substituted injured after just seven minutes and had to be carried off the pitch in tears. The striker was brutally tackled by Internacional defender Nicolas Hernandez, sustaining an ankle injury.
Roque agent Andre Cury on the striker’s health: “Roque is recovering very well and will be fit again in four weeks. He is a young, strong boy and we thank God that everything went very well.”

Former star and current Barça sports director Deco (46) would like to get his own opinion on the miracle player’s physical condition – and is planning a summit meeting with Roque in Brazil. The final details of the deal should be clarified. The meeting is scheduled to take place next Monday.
One thing is clear: Coach Xavi (43) definitely wants Roque in the team. The goal of the Barça officials: The Brazil star should relieve Robert Lewandowksi (35) in attack – and ideally replace him one day.

Ronaldo also once played for FC Barcelona. In the 1996/97 season he scored an incredible 47 goals in 49 competitive games. Let’s see if his offspring will crack it…
