FC Barcelona football coach confirmed that Ousmane Dembele is ready to leave the Spanish team. Xavi Hernandez has stated that the French forward has received an offer from Paris Saint Germain.
Barcelona ended their pre-season tour of North America with a 1-0 triumph over AC Milan in Las Vegas, with 26-year-old Dembele only on the substitutes’ bench. After the match, Xavi told Spanish television that the French international did not play because he told the club management that he wanted to leave: “I will make it very clear. He asked us that he wants to leave. He was very direct, he admitted that he has an offer from Paris. It is his personal decision. It hurts me because I think we have taken great care of him here to make him happy and satisfied. But he said he had this offer and decided to leave. That’s why he didn’t play today.”
Dembele joined Barcelona in 2017, with one year left on his contract.
