FC Barcelona seems to be on target with their efforts to sign Ilkay Gündogan.
According to the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, there is a verbal agreement between the two parties. Gündogan is said to be ready to move to Spain with his family after seven years in Manchester.
The 32-year-old midfielder currently leads Man City as captain and is under coach Pep Guardiola. The Skyblues appear to be aiming for a contract extension. But they could lose out. Barça have been after Gündogan for quite a while.
