But for the other positions, it will be necessary to tinker. Hence the many rumors suggesting exchanges of players with other European clubs.

So, Sport evoked an agreement between the leader of the Spanish championship and Juventus last weekend. Nelson Semedo would spin for Turin, and the Catalans would recover Miralem Pjanic, Mattia De Sciglio as well as 25 million euros. All this was quickly denied, however, and the Old Lady would be ready to let go of Pjanic, but only on the condition of recovering Arthur Melo, who does not really want to leave Barcelona.
João Cancelo, the new right side of Barça?
Mundo Deportivo unveils this Saturday that the Portuguese right side should spin to Manchester City. At the same time, Barça should recover his compatriot João Cancelo. Citizens would thus be particularly interested in the side of the Catalan club, and Jorge Mendes, agent for the two Lusitanians, could facilitate this exchange. Semedo would also be more interested in a departure to Manchester than a transfer to Turin.
As for Pep Guardiola, he still would not be convinced by Cancelo, who arrived at the Etihad Stadium a year ago, in particular because of his defensive shortcomings. The Iberian media adds however that the Citizen’s salary being higher than that of the Blaugrana, the already colossal payroll of the Catalan club could still take a hit. But the operation would be well advanced and today, Cancelo has a huge chance of wearing the Barcelona tunic next season …
