Bryan Gil (20) is on FC Barcelona’s shopping list. The youngster, currently loaned to Eibar by Seville, is flattered by the interest of the big club, as well as by the comparisons with Neymar.

“Of course I like to be in the focus of the best clubs,” said Bryan Gil according to the sports daily MARCA. “But I’m under contract with Sevilla FC.”
The loan agreement between Sevilla and Eibar ends on June 30, 2021. Barça has already taken the young winger under the microscope several times and reportedly wants to sign him for the new season. Gil does not want to go into the speculations.
“My agent will take care of it or not. At the moment I cannot and will not deal with that,” emphasizes the 20-year-old, who has already played 16 games this season for Eibar.
Gil was recently compared to Neymar by Barça scout German Vaya. The young Spaniard thinks these comparisons are premature: “He’s one of my favorite players. I think it’s very crazy to be compared to Neymar.”

Gil before extension in Seville
The Gunners and Barcelona have a problem: soon the youngster will probably no longer be paid. According to MUNDO DEPORTIVO, Gil has reached an agreement with Seville on an extension of two years until 2025.
The contract extension, which has not yet been officially confirmed, is expected to go hand in hand with a hefty salary increase and an increase in the release clause from 35 to 150 million euros.
