FBPR President Issues Executive Order to Limit Pitches in Double A Junior League

The president of the Puerto Rico Soccer Federation (FBPR), Dr. José Daniel Quiles Rosas, issued an executive order on Friday to ban pitching in the Double A Youth Soccer League.

It has been established that the rest days for the pitchers will depend on the pitches they make during the games.

“This new step ensures that Double A Youth Baseball League catchers are not overloaded and can continue to play safely. “They are necessary measures to prevent injuries and to ensure that players have a long and healthy career in baseball,” said the president of the FBPR.

Publications and rest days:
1-40 – No days off
41-55 – Rest day
56-75 – Two days rest
76-90 – Three days of rest
91-105 (high limit) – Four days rest

If this executive order is violated, the following sanctions will be applied:

– The game or games in which the pitcher participated will be taken over for the opposing team.
– The manager who used the pitcher will be automatically suspended for his team’s next four games. – That lifter will not be able to participate in his team’s next three matches.
