[China News Agency]A court document released on the 12th local time showed that the FBI took 11 classified documents during a raid on the former US President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate on the 8th. Some of them are marked as “Top Secret” or “Sensitive Quarantine Information”.
The court document contains a search warrant for Mar-a-Lago and a list of items seized from it. The list shows that FBI agents took 11 classified documents from Mar-a-Lago on the 8th, some of which were marked as “top secret” or “sensitive quarantined information.” The Associated Press reported that “sensitive segregated information” is a special category of information designed to protect the nation’s most important secrets, the public disclosure of which could cause “extremely serious” harm to U.S. interests.
Separately, FBI agents took a pardon for former Trump campaign adviser and longtime ally Roger Stone, as well as documents related to the “President of France.” The list of items also includes some photos and items such as a handwritten note. The court documents did not release specific details of the documents obtained by the FBI.
Search warrants included in court documents show investigators launched an investigation into possible violations of three federal laws: violations of the Espionage Act, obstruction of justice and the unlawful handling of government records.
