It is basically about digital data, such as intercepted phone calls, geolocation, information from mobile phones and their owners.
The FBI actually doesn’t even hide that they are helping the Ukrainians.
“Gathering information, analyzing it and further applying it is where the FBI has a lot of experience,” said FBI Special Agent Alex Kobzanets.
DNA analysis of murdered Russian military personnel and civilians is also being carried out.
This is a sign of cooperation between Ukraine and the US in the field of cyber security, where both countries see Russia as a threat.
The FBI admits that a number of American companies in the relevant industry are also involved in data collection and analysis, and that the chances of recording most of the war crimes and finding out who committed them are very high.
