Fawry launches electronic payment service for electricity bills

In light of its constant endeavor to facilitate the life of the citizen, Fawry, the leader in digital transformation and electronic payments, in cooperation with the Holding Company for Electricity launched a service to inquire and pay electricity bills from the home through the company holding website https://www.eehc.gov.eg/eehcportal/, through a service FawryPay payment attached to the company website.

The new service allows the citizen to enter the link and enter the mobile number, then choose his electricity company and enter the electronic payment number (fixed number on the receipt stub) for 9 electricity companies at the level of the Republic.

For his part, Dr. Khaled Al-Destawi, “Vice President of the Holding Company for Electricity,” revealed that the 9 electricity companies that the citizen can pay electricity bills electronically from the home are electricity south of Cairo, north Cairo, central Egypt, north of the delta, south of the delta, the channel, Upper Egypt, Beheira, Alexandria .

By paying through the immediate platform with its various channels, in a move aimed at saving time and effort on citizens and overcoming payment methods that are in line with the state’s policies in digital transformation.

Ashraf Sabry, CEO of Fawry, expressed that the primary goal of Fawry is to provide different payment channels in addition to the ability to pay through the holding company’s website with credit cards, by choosing the FawryPay service, and that it can also be paid through more than 15 mobile wallets, including “Vodafone Cash – Orange Cash – Etisalat Cash – Phone Cash from National Bank of Egypt – My Portfolio from Bank of Alexandria – My Funds from Banque Misr – Bloom Bank – Smart Wallet from Commercial International Bank – Credit Agricole Bank – National Bank of Abu Dhabi – Bank Audi – Flossy Phone from Bank Housing and Development – QNB Bank – Suez Canal Bank – Bank (NBK). Bank ATMs (more than 10,000 ATMs) and more than 141,000 outlets accept payments using bank cards.
