Park Hae-soo from ‘Faust’ expressed his feelings about working with Yoo In-chon.

On the 21st, the production presentation of the play ‘Faust’ was held at the LG Art Center Seoul 3rd floor studio in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. Directed by Yang Jung-woong, Yoo In-chon as Faust, Park Hae-soo as Mephisto, Park Eun-seok as young Faust, and Won Jin-ah as Gretchen were in attendance.

Park Hae-soo is on the stage for the first time in five years through ‘Faust’. He said, “Five years have passed. He longed for the theater stage, but at the time I had a role to play, so I met the public through the media. Then, the work I needed, ‘Faust’, came to me. He thought that he wanted to stand on stage with Yoo In-chon and younger actors, and he is playing the role of Mephisto, so he is doing it. I am fearful and heavy on my work.

Living in a new world with pleasant nightmares. It is a very strange and new experience every day,” he said.

Park Hae-soo, who received the 2011 Dong-A Theater Award for Best New Actor in Yoo In-chon, has a deep relationship with Yoo In-chon. Regarding what brought her acting breath together through ‘Faust’, she said, “I told you that I received an award when I first met and had a meal with my teacher. It’s such an honor. I grew up watching Korean language and language, which are the most obvious in Korea, show high-quality acting. Listening to Yoo In-chon’s reading really felt like listening to an orchestra. I quietly recorded it to study later.”

‘Faust’ is a masterpiece of the life of Goethe, a master of German literature. It will open on March 31 at LG Art Center Signature Hall.
