Mourning for the rapper Fatman Scoop: He died after collapsing during a performance at the age of 53.
Isaac Freeman III, also known as Fatman Scoop, is dead. This is reported by the US celebrity portal “TMZ“. The musician, who was only 53 years old, collapsed on stage on Friday night. The rapper’s tour manager shared a post saying: “I’m honestly speechless… You’ve taken me all over the world and had me perform alongside you on some of the biggest and most amazing stages on this planet, the things you’ve taught me have truly made me the man I am today. Thank you so much, I love you.”
He was taken to hospital
According to information from “TMZ”, New York native Fatman Scoop collapsed beforehand. He had to be resuscitated and was transported to a hospital. According to the report, the incident occurred on Friday (August 30) in Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut. The musician is said to have suddenly fainted on stage and fallen over. Authorities confirmed to “TMZ” that there was a medical emergency at around 8:30 p.m.
Fatman Scoop has already worked with many big names in hip-hop, including Missy Elliott, 53, and Mariah Carey, 55.
