The difficulties of evacuating the sick from these landlocked villages to the Fatick regional hospital or the Fatick health center prompted the City Council to acquire these ambulances, she said.
“Today, the endowment of these two villages with ambulances allows the municipality of Diarrère to have ambulance coverage at all of its seven health posts,” she added.
