“I mean, without war, we are at war. Our children are dying on the streets. My son died, my daughter-in-law died. When will this stop?” the father of the boy who died in the serious accident in Sofia told bTV only.
“A child I raised, a child who has no traffic violations. My child died at this intersection. He was dragged 300 meters,” he added.
He also made an appeal: “Today it was my child, tomorrow it could be yours.” Please stop them. Stop these killings.”
The serious accident happened 15 minutes after midnight in the area of the intersection of “Slivnitsa” Blvd. and “Ruse” Street. A 24-year-old girl and a 23-year-old boy died on the spot. Investigators determined they were together.
The driver who caused the accident is 18 years old and was detained at the Third District Office. The speed at which he was driving is yet to be determined.
