Gerd (Peter Lohmeyer) – father of three children from three different women and owner of a small craft business – has made a firm promise to his partner Michaela (Christina Große): when their daughter Laura (Lilli Ogaj) starts school, he will take care of her , and Michaela can go back to her job as a nurse. Only if he takes on this task and proves himself to be a mature, responsible househusband from the day he starts school will she finally accept his marriage proposal – that’s the deal. A time of greatest challenges begins not only for Gerd: his friends Mark (David Rott), Timo (Tim Oliver Schultz) and Andreas (Tobias van Dieken) also have children for whom it is the first day of school. From now on, the gentlemen have to prove that they are capable of taking care of their children.
