Are these empty words launched by a bereaved father or a real criminal plan fomented by a man accustomed to prison? It is in any case a very strange development which has just appeared in the wake of the Leslie and Kevin affair. According to our information, the gendarmes took into custody, this Wednesday May 3, Guy Trompat, the father of Kevin Trompat, a young man murdered with his girlfriend Leslie Hoorelbelke in Deux-Sèvres on the night of November 25 to 26, 2022 .
A story of an ambush mixing extreme violence, disappointment in love, feeling of betrayal and cocaine debt, of which Le Parisien revealed the underside a few days ago.
Guy Trompat’s police custody is part of a separate part of the case, as part of a preliminary investigation recently opened by the Niort prosecutor’s office. This procedure was initiated after the receipt by the prosecution, on March 29, of information indicating that Kevin’s father would seek to recruit prisoners to eliminate in prison those responsible for the murder of his son. Contacted, the Niort prosecutor’s office did not wish to comment on the subject immediately.
100,000 euro reward
This “tip” was transmitted by the management of the prison administration on the strength of a disturbing report from the prison service for integration and probation (SPIP) of a remand center in the Aquitaine region. As part of her social follow-up of detainees, an official said she had learned that a young detainee had been approached by Guy Trompat to “take care of the people concerned by his son’s case”.
He would even promise 100,000 euros to those who manage to attack the suspects. They are currently five young men indicted and imprisoned for having participated in the assassination of Kevin and Leslie or in the hiding of the bodies, found four months later on the indications of several of them.

More worrying, this young detainee would have taken the task seriously since his behavior would have changed and he would even have asked one of his relatives to send his bank details to Kevin’s father. According to information collected by the SPIP, Guy Trompat also tried to approach other prisoners from another prison in the region. The gendarmes are trying to find out if such contacts have been established and if the project is a concrete reality.
Known for his high verb, Kevin’s father had appeared during the white marches to cry out his pain, claiming with dignity that “justice be done”. But in recent days, the man has shown a grimmer face in videos posted on social media in which he said he was angry at the revelations about the affair and went so far as to attack those close to Leslie. and threaten journalists.
At the time of the disappearance of his son and his girlfriend, Guy Trompat was incarcerated, the man being well known to the courts for offenses such as death threats and drug trafficking. Guy Trompat’s custody should end this Thursday, May 4 before a decision by the prosecution.
