While the South Police Headquarters has referred to the Public Prosecutor’s Office the investigation file of a citizen for the fire of a motor vehicle and the death of the driver following the injuries sustained inside the parking lot of the Southern Housing Project, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the regular procedures, after the “Southern Police” managed to arrest the perpetrator in less than 24 hours, carrying out his heinous crime, betraying his friend and burning his car, leaving him to struggle with death.
The victim’s father, Taha Qarhadi, revealed new information to ‘Okaz’, in which he confirmed that the perpetrator was accompanying the victim, his son (Bandar), and was sleeping at his home in Al-Sanabel neighborhood, after finally getting to know him. He stressed that he will not hesitate to pursue his son’s right to take revenge on the killer.
He said: “My family and I lived in the Southern Housing Project before I built my house in Al-Sanabel neighborhood, and I have allocated apartments for my children, including my son Bandar, who works for Saudi Airlines as co -pilot, and his family circumstances made it necessary for him to transfer his job to ground services, so he got to know me “guilty.”
Qarhadi added, “My son Bandar and his partner (the offender) came home one day, and Bandar asked his mother to prepare some southern food for a guest he had in his apartment, and I I came to say hello, and if I saw a suspicious person, his appearance was unstable, and I reported my son for taking him home.” His response was humane, and confirms that he is his friend and a person with circumstances, and he needs a friend to help him in his life, and he sympathizes with him for that, befriending him, and used to sleep with him in the house as his friend, but i didn’t feel comfortable with him.
And he indicates that he saw his son, before the accident, bring him a dinner consisting of “burgers” and “shawarma”, but he left it hanging on the door of his house, and came down from the building: “When I have asked about his destination, he told me that he had received a call from a friend to help him, after he was exposed. That friend had a malfunction in his vehicle, and he will charge the battery and return quickly, so I asked him not to late, and went to sleep, and didn’t know he hadn’t come home.
Qarhadi added, “On the second day, I received a call from a person who indicated that he was an employee of King Abdulaziz Hospital, and asked me to come because my son was in a traffic accident, and another person was with he, and he has to come to do his business, and when i arrived, i searched for bandar and i didn’t find him, until someone came and made it by revealing a cover for a deceased person that seems to burn.
Qarhadi added, “The employee indicated that he was my son Bandar, but I rejected him, as he didn’t look like him after his features changed due to the fire.”
And he declared, saying, “I left while under abnormal circumstances. My heart confirms that this person is Bandar, but my mind rejects it. Till the second day, at nine in the morning, I received a call, and I was asked to go to the competent authority, and there it was confirmed that that person is my son Bandar, whom I knew.” Kindness and good treatment of him, and it was right to his parents, and the Lord Almighty bear witness to it, and I saw nothing but good from him, the mercies of my Lord upon him.

The victim’s father thanked Qarhadi, the governor of Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, and the governor of Jeddah, for their condolences, and confirmed that he will not hesitate to pursue his son’s right to take revenge on the killer.
And he explained – resisting himself and keeping her from crying – that her son Bandar, who is married and has two children, was betrayed by those who were kind to him, tried to help him, entrusted himself to him and gave him taken to his home in a horrific accident that is alien to our society. And he wrote down saying: “I burn the pleasure of my liver as long as it is alive, and I don’t wish anyone to experience what my family and I have experienced, nor that any father or mother experience the pain that afflicted me. And I ask God Almighty to write Bandar with the martyrs.
Qarhadi was surprised by what was shown in the video clip which showed his son Bandar screaming in pain and walking on his feet, while no one helped and saved him, as Akl does not believe that his burned son walked on his feet until he reached the center health care in the neighborhood, which he found closed to return. He’s trying to walk to another hospital so someone can move him and help him. Is it reasonable for one to film and the other just to watch, and no one to take the initiative to help him?
