A father was killed as he hoped to speak to the parents of a teenager who harassed his daughter on social media.
Brandon Curtis was 35 years old and the father of 5 children. This Texas man was killed last Friday. His relatives explain that he was visiting the parents of a teenager who was harassing his daughter on social networks when he was shot dead. ABC13 reports that the man was hit on several occasions by the shooter who for his part claims to have acted in self-defense. The sheriff appears to be leaning on this version as well, claiming that the father punched a teenager in question during a confrontation.

Harassed for months

The month before the tragedy, the couple had met the boy’s father to settle this story. But the harassment reportedly continued, and the father and daughter went out to meet the teenager and his parents on Friday. “When I left, my husband wanted to solve this problem. He wanted to talk to the parents, ”says his wife.
The heated argument took place outside the teenager’s home. A 20-year-old man, claiming to be the younger boy’s brother, introduced himself and ended up picking up his gun to protect the teenager, he said. The mother of the harassed girl says she received a message this weekend, in which it is written: “We fought and we killed dad”. “For self-defense, it’s disgusting,” responded the mother. The man who fired has not been worried so far. The family is demanding his arrest and charge.
