One person 10 year old child in Penjaringan, North Jakarta died horribly at the hands of his father. The boy named Awan died after being slammed by his father.
The unfortunate incident occurred in the Muara Baru area RT 022 RW 017 Penjaringan Village, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta, Wednesday (13/12). The incident was caught on CCTV cameras and went viral on social media.
Ironically, Usman’s abuse of his son occurred in front of the public. Cloud suddenly became unconscious and… died after being slammed loudly by his father.
In the video footage that was spread, the father was initially seen hitting Awan on the head. The cloud then fell.
It didn’t stop there, Usman again abused his son by kicking him. After that, Usman lifted Awan’s body and threw him to the ground.
The clouds seemed to hang limp. Usman then picked him up and took him away.
In the video, Usman’s cruel act can be seen taking place in the middle of a crowd. But ironically, not a single resident stopped Usman.
Father Slams Child Arrested
The police intervened to follow up on the viral incident. Not long after, so did Usman caught by the police.
“On behalf of U, a father of the victim on behalf of K is being detained at the North Jakarta Metro Police and we are carrying out an examination,” said North Jakarta Metro Police Chief Commissioner Gidion Arif Setyawan, as reported by BetweenThursday (14/12).
Reasons why fathers spank children
The police are still investigating the case of the father with the initials U who had the heart to slam his own son, K alias Awan (10) in Penjaringan, North Jakarta. It is not yet known why the father had the heart to carry out this cruel act, but the police suspect that he was the perpetrator in an acute emotional state.
“Perhaps in an acute emotional condition, yes. We will further investigate the background of the problem before the incident occurred,” said Gidion.
