Lavel “Flip” Frasier, a father considered a hero for saving some neighbor children in a fire, was shot to death in a basement in Brooklyn (NYC) weekend.
Frasier, a father of four, received a shot in the torso on Sterling Place near Franklin Ave. in Crown Heights around 1 a.m. Sunday, according to the NYPD. Paramedics rushed him to Kings County Hospital, but could not save him, he reported. Daily News.

Nadia has been arrested for the homicide, which baffled those who knew Frasier as a humble family man. “Very beautiful, good spirit,” said her cousin Christine Moody. “Very loving”. Another friend said the crime left him “in disbelief.”
In September, Frasier and his wife Andriana Edwards sprang into action when they discovered their Cypress Hills building was on fire, a fire that investigators later blamed on owner Islam, who was charged in December and remains jailed on Rikers Island.
That fire was the culmination of months of harassment of the family by Islam after he stopped receiving rental subsidies through the CityFHEPS program following a failed inspection, Edwards previously said.
