Fate in AC Milan’s hands!

Olivier Giroud confess AC Milan more excited after the defeat of Inter Milan. Milan is now in full control of the Scudetto competition.

The Rossoneri benefited after Inter’s surprise loss at Bologna 1-2. The defeat keeps Milan’s throne safe with a two-point advantage over their city rivals.

Milan will try to defend List header when entertaining Fiorentina at the San Siro on Sunday (1/5/2022) evening WIB. Stefano Pioli’s team must maximize this opportunity by taking full points.

Nevertheless, The Viola a bit tricky for AC Milan. In the last five meetings between the two clubs, Milan have only won twice and have lost twice and drawn once. On the other hand, Milan have only won once in their last three home matches against Fiorentina.

Giroud revealed that Milan were motivated after Inter lost to Bologna. Now Milan must be fully concentrated to win the next match.

“I think we have everything to win,” said Giroud to Sport Mediaset. “We can’t hide and we are very focused on Sunday’s game against Fiorentina.”

“The most important thing is that Inter lost to Bologna, so we have destiny in our hands. We have to stay focused on our football,” continued the former Arsenal and Chelsea player.

“I think we are more excited after the Inter defeat. We have the humility and confidence to keep winning every game,” Giroud added ahead of facing Fiorentina.

AC Milan Haven’t won the Scudetto in a long time. The last time Milan lifted the Italian League trophy was in 2010/2011 while still being coached by Massimilano Allegri.
