A man was killed in a shooting at the Nassauhaven in the Rotterdam district of Feijenoord on Sunday evening around 11.30 pm. That’s what the police report.
The police have launched a major investigation and are looking for the perpetrator(s). No one has been arrested yet. Police are asking anyone who saw anything to get in touch.
The victim’s identity has not yet been released other than his gender.
It AD reports that around the same time, a vehicle fire was also reported on the Feijenoordkade, not far from the spot where the shooting took place. A police spokesperson was unable to say anything about this and it is unclear whether this has anything to do with the shooting.
