[Yahoo News Report]There was a traffic accident at Jianglan Tunnel entrance this morning (16th). A private car was suspected of colliding with itself. The 21-year-old male driver was confirmed dead.

At about 6:23 this morning, a private car was driving along Cha Kwo Ling Road, and it was suspected of losing control and collided when it reached a roundabout near the entrance of Jianglan Tunnel. According to the news at the scene, the driver was unconscious and trapped in the car, and 3 of the 4 passengers were in a semi-conscious state. Rescuers rushed to the scene for rescue, and the injured were sent to the United Hospital for treatment.

At 9 o’clock in the morning, the comatose 21-year-old male driver surnamed Gao was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment and died.

The Transport Department issued a special traffic message stating that due to a traffic accident, some traffic lanes on Cha Kwo Ling Road (towards Tseung Kwan O-Lam Tin Tunnel) near the roundabout of Cha Kwo Ling Road are still closed. Motorists can only use the remaining lanes to drive. Vehicles traveling along Cha Kwo Ling Road towards San Jia Village cannot go to the roundabout of Cha Kwo Ling Road and have to use other roads. Currently the site is busy with traffic.
