An accident occurred between a Ferrari and a Lamborghini at a supercar tour event in Italy, where the participation fee is more than tens of millions of won. In the aftermath of the accident, the Ferrari caught fire and two people died.
According to foreign media such as the Italian daily Lunione Sarda and the New York Post of the United States on the 4th (local time), the Sardinian police announced that on the 2nd, an accident occurred where a Ferrari collided with a Lamborghini on a road in Sardinia, Italy.
In a video released on social media, supercars are driving in a line on a two-lane road. The supercars tried to overtake a white camping car that was driving ahead on the same road, and in the process, the red Ferrari collided next to the blue Lamborghini.
In the aftermath of the accident, the Lamborghini was crushed under the camping car, and the camping car fell across the road. Meanwhile, the Lamborghini pulled out to the side of the road and stopped.

According to the police, the Ferrari that crashed overturned in the aftermath of the accident, caught fire, and both occupants died. At the time, the Ferrari was driven by Marx Krautley and his wife from Zurich, Switzerland.
Another video taken immediately after the accident shows black smoke rising from the accident vehicle. Several supercars that were on tour are parked on the surrounding roads.
Indian Bollywood actor Geyatri Joshi and her husband were riding in the Lamborghini where the accident occurred. “We had an accident while traveling in Italy with her husband,” Keyatri told Indian media. “We are safe.”
A local Italian couple was riding in the overturned camping car. “My wife and I were suddenly lying upside down in a broken down camping car,” the driver recalled through local media. “It was the moment when I looked death in the face.”
At the time, the drivers were participating in the ‘Sardinia Supercar Experience’. This is an event where attendees travel around the Italian islands in their own or rented supercars for several days and stay in luxury hotels.
Supercar owners must pay a participation fee of 10,409 pounds (about 17.11 million won), and those who rent a Ferrari SF90 must pay a participation fee of 21,515 pounds (about 35.37 million won).
