Authorities are looking for the person responsible for stabbing and killing a 17-year-old teenager in Washington Heights.
Authorities received a call Saturday afternoon warning of an assault on West 181 Street and Saint Nicholas Avenue.
Upon arrival, the officers found the victim who they identified as Gerardo Rivas, with a stab wound to the torso.
The Police Department indicates that an argument took place between the victim and the attacker, which later turned violent.
His death was declared at a local hospital.
