One person died following a stabbing incident in Zutphen, Gelderland, on Wednesday evening. A second victim was taken to hospital with injuries. It is not known how serious his injuries are.
The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. in the area of Gerard Doustraat in Gelderland. Shortly after midnight, the Gelderland Police announced that one of those involved had died. According to the police’s initial assessment, it appears that there was an argument between the two people.
A so-called crime scene unit has been placed on site for further investigation into the incident. Witnesses are urged to come forward. The police also ask for camera images.
