One person died following a stabbing in Enschede on Friday evening. Another was seriously injured. The police are conducting an investigation into the incident on site.
Around 11 p.m., the police received a report of the incident on Van Lochemstraat. There the police found two seriously injured people. One of them died on the spot, the other was rushed to hospital.
There were many people on the street who experienced something of the stabbing. The police hear witnesses and conduct forensic investigations.
The police informed X that they assume that a conflict was the reason for the stabbing. It is not yet known whether any arrests have been made.
