Two people died on Friday evening due to a serious single-vehicle accident on the Meulunterseweg in Lunteren, Gelderland. A third person was seriously injured, police reported.
One of the deceased was the driver of the vehicle involved.
The police received a report of the accident around 9:40 p.m. An air ambulance was called in, among other things. It concerns a van that crashed into a tree.
The police are investigating what exactly happened.
