A 17-year-old boy was gunned down in broad daylight outside a public housing complex on Wednesday in New York.
Trequan Wingfield was shot in the chest in Manhattan shortly before 3 p.m., according to the New York City Police Department.
He was taken to Harlem Hospital in critical condition, before he was later pronounced dead, the New York Post reported.
The suspect fled on foot on Frederick Douglass Boulevard, authorities said. The suspect has still not been arrested.
