A person who has not yet been identified was killed in a shooting that broke out in the city of Paterson, New Jersey. According to the authorities report, a 32-year-old man was also injured.
During the early hours of this Sunday, around 3:00 am, local police received a report of a shooting in the area of Market Street and East 36th Street.
After responding to the scene, they found the 32-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he is in stable condition.
However, the other victim was shot in the chest and could not survive. She was declared dead at the same care center, after arriving in a private vehicle.
Paterson Police are investigating the incident and have made no arrests so far.
