Bulgarian builders are the victims of the collapse of scaffolding at a large construction site in the German city of Hamburg. reports BTA, referring to DPA.
The local fire service informed that four bodies were found while clearing the debris, and all the workers who were previously reported missing have now been found. Initially, the information that was released spoke of three victims.
The 8-story scaffolding collapsed onto an elevator shaft shortly after 9:00 a.m. local time this morning. The height of the debris reached the second floor of the building where the facility was located.
A spokesman for the fire service explained that the main difficulty was that there were many elements of the scaffolding that needed to be secured.
About 150 rescuers are working at the scene.

Investigators from the Hamburg police are already conducting an initial inspection. However, it is still too early to determine the cause of the collapse.
The incident took place in the “Yuberzekwartir” construction zone in the “Hafen City” port area, where a shopping center, restaurants, offices and hotels are being built. It is one of the largest construction sites in Hamburg.
According to one of the construction managers, between 1,300 and 1,500 people were working on the site when the scaffolding collapsed.
