When he approached the Tai Ping industrial center, he hit a pedestrian crossing the street.68A 20-year-old man sustained severe head injuries and was taken to hospital in a coma, where he was later pronounced dead. Police arrested a private male motorist suspected of “dangerous driving that resulted in death.” The case was referred to the New Northern Territories Region Special Investigation Team for follow-up.
