A small plane crashed into the hangar of an airport in the Polish village of Chrcynno on Monday. At least five people have been killed and seven injured, Health Minister Adam Niedzielski said on Twitter.
After the crash, four helicopters and ten ambulances rushed to the airport in Chrcynno. The village is located about 50 kilometers north of Warsaw.
There were people present in the hangar during the accident. They took shelter there because the weather was bad, a spokesperson for the fire service told the Polish news agency PAP.
Authorities suspect bad weather to be the cause of the crash. Polish media write that it is a Cessna 208 aircraft.
