Fatal motorcycle accident on the federal highway 66 – Schluechtern
Today, in the late afternoon, around 4.48 p.m., there was a fatal traffic accident on the Autobahn 66 between the Schlüchtern-Nord and Schlüchtern-Süd junctions in the direction of Frankfurt. A 31-year-old motorcyclist from Jena skidded in a slight left-hand bend on a rain-soaked road for reasons unknown until now, lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the central protection barrier and in the course of the rescue service, the 31-year-old died in a hospital. His motorcycle (Yamaha) suffered material damage of around 300 euros.
